FBI Questions Grimm Staffers in Investigation
The FBI has questioned four people who worked on the 2010 Grimm campaign about allegations of his shady fundraising. In 2010, Grimm was accussed of raising illegal campaign contributions, and of forcing members of his district to give. The influential Rabbi Pinto alleged that Grimm’s campaign forcefully pressed for donations from his congregation, and that Grimm evem promised he’d be able to get around the legal contribution limit. Pinto also asserted that Grimm said he’d be able to find away to accept contributions from non-U.S. citizens, which too is illegal. The Rabbi had complained to former Queens congressman Anthony Weiner, and Weiner contacted the FBI from there.
Grimm can keep denying wrongdoing all he wants, but the FBI is pressing forward with the investigation, and soon enough we’ll be finding all the skeletons in his closet! Hopefully these will not be the last staffers to be questioned - as long as the public keeps pressing for the truth, Grimm will not be able to get away with doing whatever he pleases.
